Headache and high pressure
I normally get frequent headaches which increases my otherwise low blood pressure and crosses 160/110. I'm taking medicines. I get pain in the temple region and my pressure keeps fluctuating now a days. What should be the reason?

Ma’am as you feel that your blood pressure rises when you have headache but is that possible that when your bo rises it give you headaches or you feel lightheaded. There could be several reasons for headache but if it is bcoz of high BP than it’s important to keep your BP in normal range.
Next Steps
You have to go for regular daily BP charting, at least in morning and in evening and when you feel uneasiness or headache check you BP meanwhile. Your target BP should be less than 140/90 mmHg

According to your sign and symptom you was suffering from stress and  anxiety so that's your blood pressure is increases and causes the headache. As you know that best treatment depend on the correct diagnosis and correct diagnosis depend on complete history so take the consultation from a doctor to make a correct diagnosis and then best treatment will be start. It might be possible that your medicine of the blood pressure is not affecting to control your blood pressure.

you should change your lifestyle as take th see sufficient amount of water and take the less spicy and fatty food and take the less salt in the food and do exercise regularly until get sweat and do yoga and meditation to control your blood pressure 10-15 point without medicine.

Dear Practo User, With What instrument are you recording blood pressure,some of the devices meant for home use are not accurate or loose their accuracy over time.   You need to use well calibrated and certified machine.Record BP at various times of a day and keep a note in the form of a chart ,eg for a day record morning and evening bp next day record for noon and bedtime do this for few days and consult with Cardiologist or a Physician.**In case your symptoms worsen dont delay visit those doctors.**
