The fact that your HbA1c level has improved from 6.6 to 6.3 suggests that the medicine may be helping you achieve better glycemic control. However, the duration of treatment and whether you need to take it for a lifetime can vary depending on several factors, including the severity of your diabetes, your overall health, and the guidance of your doctor.
Next Steps
Remember that lifestyle factors such as diet, exercise, and weight management also play a crucial role in managing diabetes. It's essential to follow a balanced diet, engage in regular physical activity, and adhere to any other treatment recommendations provided by your doctor.
