I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes 2 years ago and was asked to follow strict diet and medication. After delivery I was diagnosed as pre- diabetec. Recently went for a HbA1c and found out that the value is 7.1 which confirms diabetes. I want to avoid allopathy medinines. Please advice.

Talk to experienced doctor online and get your health questions answered in just 5 minutes.
It needs lifestyle modification, both diet and exercise (both physical-cardio- yoga - meditation). And strictly dietary changes.
But 7.1% HbA1C you need to take medication , if not allopathy, do try ayurvedic medicine, but monitor your sugar levels, so that the efficacy can be decided and further plan if treatment can be reviewed.
Meanwhile few dietary recommendations- can substitute wheat with ragi, or combination of both to start with.
Methi soaked overnight and drink the water next morning, or can take methi powder once in the morning ( but be mindful if you have acid reflux issues).
Walk atleast for 30 minn daily, or 150 min weekly for good cardio- and heart health.
