The symptoms you have described are indicative of a possible lower back issue that may be causing nerve compression, which can radiate pain down to the hip. This can be caused by various factors such as poor posture, sitting for long hours, lifting heavy weights, and age-related wear and tear of the spine. To manage the pain, you can try the following remedies: Improve your posture while sitting and standing. Sit with your back straight, shoulders relaxed, and feet flat on the floor. Avoid sitting for prolonged periods. Take frequent breaks and walk around for a few minutes to stretch your legs. Apply heat or cold compresses to the affected area. Try some light exercises or stretches to relieve the pain. You can consult a physiotherapist for a customized exercise program. Over-the-counter pain medications can also help alleviate the pain. However, it's best to consult a doctor before taking any medication. If the pain persists or worsens, it's advisable to consult an orthopedic specialist who may suggest further investigations such as an MRI or X-ray to diagnose the underlying cause. The doctor may also prescribe physical therapy, spinal injections, or surgery depending on the severity of the condition.
