Hello.. Halitosis (foul mouth odor) could be due to various reasons such as bad oral hygiene (calculus and plaque deposition) , unhealthy gums, periodontal disease, dry mouth (xerostomia), Tabaco consumption.
Kindly visit a periodontist for Deep Scaling and Polishing.
Other reasons include- systemic disorders, certain food items such as garlic or onion etc.
Kindly visit a dentist for definitive diagnosis and treatment
You need proper clinical evaluation of your oral cavity. Halitosis could be due to local reasons like calculus deposit, any carious tooth or maybe their are areas where food is accumulating, or could be due to systemic reasons like indigestion, any medications.
Treatment will depend upon the cause.
You can consult me online or offline for better guidance and treatment options.
You need proper clinical evaluation to rule out any deposition around teeth or any gum diseases or any systemic disorder / diseases..
So visit your Nearest Dentist ASAP
If there is lots of calculus or tartar then you need full mouth scaling of your teeth followed by mouth wash for a week & medication depending on the condition of your gums .
Maintain oral hygiene by using Tongue cleaner
& proper brushing techniques.
Ask your doctor to show proper brushing technique.
Thanks !
