Hello, thank you for your question. Neither injection is automatically "better". The right choice depends on why your hands and feet hurt, and at 19, injections are usually not the first step. • Neurobion (B1 + B6 + B12) is a combination. It helps if you are low in several B vitamins. Taking too much B6 for a long time can itself cause tingling and nerve problems. • Mecobalamin is an active form of B12 only. It is useful mainly when B12 is actually low. • Most people with a deficiency improve with tablets or capsules. Injections are kept for very low levels, poor absorption or severe symptoms. Hand and foot pain or tingling at your age can also come from low vitamin D or calcium, anaemia, thyroid problems, blood sugar issues, carpal tunnel, or anxiety with fast breathing.

Health Tips
See a doctor promptly if you have weakness, numbness that is spreading, difficulty walking or holding things, or bladder or bowel changes. Please avoid starting injections on your own before testing. I would be happy to review your symptoms and reports and advise a plan that fits you. You can book a teleconsultation with me, Dr Amandeep Aggarwal, Family Physician, Sangrur.

Mecobalamin (Vitamin B12) is generally preferred when peripheral neuropathy is due to Vitamin B12 deficiency. Neurobion contains a combination of vitamins B1, B6 and B12 it is useful when there is deficiency . neither injection is universally superior for hand and foot pain. You can consult with me  for an examination and an appropriate treatment plan on practo app if symptoms are persistent or worsen You need to provide detailed history are you taking this on your own or the doctor suggested it
Next Steps
we need to know the cause of the pain, including Vitamin B12 deficiency, diabetes, thyroid dysfunction and nerve compression. Consider CBC, serum Vitamin B12, blood glucose/HbA1c and TSH .
Health Tips
Prolonged or excessive Vitamin B6 supplementation can itself cause peripheral neuropathy

Neurobion and Mecobalamin are both vitamin B injections used for nerve-related hand and feet pain, but they are not the same thing. Neurobion covers B1, B6 and B12 together, while Mecobalamin is a specific, more active form of B12 alone. Which one suits you depends on what is actually causing the pain, not personal preference.
Next Steps
A simple B12 blood level, along with blood sugar and thyroid tests, would show whether a deficiency is driving this. Your doctor can then pick the more suitable injection based on that result.
Health Tips
Please check with your physician before choosing between the two, since picking the wrong one won't fix the actual cause.
