Vitamin B12 Deficiency
Hello Doctors, I got to know from my blood test report that my Vitamin B12 is 174 pg/mL (Lab reference: 211-912 pg/mL). Should I take injections for this deficiency or would 2 tablets of Neurobion Forte in a day for a month be sufficient to cure this deficiency?

Hi Levels this low is preferably treated with Injectable B12. Injectables are usually taken alternate days for 5 doses, then weekly for 6 weeks then monthly for 6 months. Also need more details, and serum folate levels Take a consultation feom a physician before starting any medications. Take care.
