Glycomet SR 500 at 27 weeks pregnant
My fasting sugar levels are 96 (as per Lab Sample) , however when i do at home using Contour plus it's 105-110 range.
Hba1c levels are 5.2 as per my test done 2 weeks back.
Doctor has advised me to take Glycomet at night based on my Home Charting for sugar as my fasting levels are high. Not sure which one to rely lab sample vs home sample.
And is it safe to take Glycomet this dosage as per my current fasting levels? Will it impact fetus?

Are u a known diabetic before pregnancy or gestational diabetic?? And Are u on diabetic diet or not? How many weeks are u pregnant? Are u regularly monitoring ur sugar level??
Anyways blood sugar level is not always fixed. It fluctuates. so if ur fasting level is continuously on higher side then go for medication as prescribed . Or else u can contact over practo for further discussion.
