I need to know her medications
Because if your mother is using ARB s for controlling bp - coconut water can cause an increase in potassium..
So detailed history is needed
Hi! 😊
Yes, for your mother with stable high BP, one glass of coconut water daily is generally fine in summer but adding Glucose D powder should he avoided.

It's great to know that your mother is managing her BP well with medication. It is reassuring.
With the current heat wave- coconut water, diluted chaas, homemade( not bottled) nimbu pani, ORas sachet diluted in 1L water are good for hydration and maintain electrolyte balance.
Frankly for any age, I'm not a big fan of high sugar intake....let alone white processed sugar. So best avoided please.
Coconut water is a good choice â it's naturally hydrating with good electrolytes, and the potassium in it is actually beneficial for blood pressure. One glass a day is fine. However, I'd avoid giving Glucose D regularly. Since your mother is on oral steroids, her blood sugar may already be at risk, and Glucose D is essentially concentrated sugar which can spike glucose levels. For summer hydration, plain water, coconut water, or a low-sugar ORS is much better than Glucose D. Make sure she's drinking adequate water through the day and not waiting until she feels very thirsty.
