I had put braces for 2 years for levelling my teeth. Then doctor prescribed retainers , i used that too for another 1 year then o stopped visiting him and stopped using the retainers since he advices me to wear it for only 1 year. Now I have a gap between my teeth in two places. Can u suggest a method other than braces which is not too costlier too

Post orthodontic retention is a must to prevent prolapse. U can opt for fixed retention which can be judged upon clinical examination. This is cost effective to suit you as well.

Relapse cases need to evaluate for occlusion if no traumatic occlusion then removable plates followed by splinting should help . Treatment will be reasonable
