Hi, Fruit should always be taken 1.5-2 hours before or after meals as it has 2-3 tsp natural sugar (Fructose). Our food has enough starch (Converted to glucose) for energy, extra sugar will get converted to fat so its better to avoid fruit with meals. However in order to gain weight it can be taken with meal for better digestion of food.
