Front teeth gap
I've a front teeth gap and regarding this I went to a dentist today. He suggested I should opt out for braces if I want a permanent solution but if I am not comfortable with the cost and other disadvantages of wearing braces I may get a filler as well. Now he said there's no guarantee with fillers it may stay for a while or may not be fruitful for a long period of time. What should I do? Are fillers that uncertain? I don't wanna put that much money in wearing braces as of now so I want a temporary long lasting solution kindly advice.

Dear patient, you have midline diastema. It can be corrected orthodontically with braces or aligners or can be covered with veneers. Orthodontic treatment corrects the underlying cause of the problem. Meanwhile veneers will provide good aesthetics but might not be durable as the underlying cause would still exist.

I would suggest to get yourself consulted by an orthodontist and ask them about the various options for conventional braces and aligners.
