Front teeth crown
In an accident lost upper two front teeth and done RCT and pfm crown, but dentist before doing the procedure didn't informed about blackish line and black dots in the teeth if you place pfm crown. Want to replace with original like teeth..what will be the best option

If the teeth are RCT treated there are chances of discolouration over the time period..in such cases you can opt for zirconia crowns as it is opaque. Emax crown again will show the discolouration if teeth colour changes

U can change the crown if the RCT treated teeth is in good condition & no lesion in Xray..

Hello mam ! For your present condition we can go for a holistic approach where we see the status of the root canal of the teeth and if they are good , we can go ahead with replacing the PFM crowns with high Esthetic zirconia or eMax crowns !! If the root canal status if not good and needs attention we can do the crowns after the root canals are treated and bacteria free !!!
