Flax seeds

Hi, What is the best way to have flax seed to loose weight?? What I tried was, has soaked it in boiling water for overnight and had the water in morning after straining it. Also, whether one should have it in summer or not?? Is it specific to a season. Thanks

Hi welcome - Flaxseed you can add with lukewarm water or skim milk, or even mix vegetables with meals. It depends your personal choice. This is good for balancing cholesterol, sugar even more dietary applications.

Flaxseed should be taken 1-2 tsp with water in the morning. Taking water in which flaxseed was soaked will not help much. You can also take roasted flaxseed with water. These seeds are a good source of omega 3 fatty acids and fibre so good for high cholesterol levels but we can't expect weight loss by just taking flaxseed. A balanced diet with 5 meal pattern, regular exercise and taking lot of liquids is more important for weight loss. Also cut down extra carbs, sugars and oil from your diet.
