Hi Doctors, My 2.5 year old son is having cavities and black spots on his front upper four teeth. Do filling or restoration of teeth process require anesthesia or any injection for numbness? We are afraid of anesthesia for our small child so please guide us.

Hi, It is safe to undergo a dental procedure under anesthesia. Leaving the decayed tooth untreated will lead to complications and pain in the coming months.
