Yes this can be done by a procedure called coronoplasty..... excessive reduction should be avoided because that may lead to tooth sensitivity or even compromised aesthetics..... regards....
Hi..reduction of 0.5 mm by cosmetic contouring can be done ..by coronoplasty your enamel s getting reduced..its a non reversible procedure. .though it sounds simple please approach a well experienced dentist ...as slight error can make a lot of difference in tooth shape ..also getting a composite restoration in adjacent tooth is a solution ..but then you have to be careful while biting into hard substance with front teeth and in case of discolouration after few years u have to re visit your dentist..weigh your options carefully taking in account what will make your smile look better and boost your confidence along with your dentist s advice. .tc
As seen in your pic ...The left side front tooth needs rectification ,this can be very well done with composite (tooth coloured ) filling .You will get excellent aesthetics. By the way your smile is already lovely ..with the filling you will look more beautiful ...All the best.
Hello that can be done it is called cosmetic contouring and your smile would be uniform...for such minor corrections contouring would be the right choice...
