Fetal heart beat absent
Hi i m pregnant...during six weeks scan fetal heart rate was 95...NW at 8 weeks scan...ter is no growth n no fetal heart heart rate n movement absent... report came as missed abortion but no bleeding started yet...is ter a chance of fetus Survival...shld I hv to rescan for confirmation or to do abortion...

It is unlikely that the foetal heart action will come back. Please consult a Gynaecologist in your area for a physical examination and further management

Heartbeat seen on initial scan and then not seen is a called missed miscarriage. Really sorry for your loss. You can proceed with the abortion process provided the scan was done at a good centre
