It doesn't require a doctor or any medicine to relieve...need to take rest whenever required...one hour of focused study is better than 4 fours of reading....to change to active reading and set small goals....and reward yourself for reaching some minor goals....plan your study time properly...take some tea or coffee....it certainly helps....if you have any well wisher share your burdens for mental peace...and  find someone to encourage you on your endeavours....online teachers or supporters ...I hope it helps...

You can take black coffee or tea while studying to keep you awake For studying you need to follow a regular timetable and stick to it. Make a plan for everyday. You have many things to do I know and because of that you are bound to be stressed. You can do meditation for 2 min before starting studying. It will definitely help. For focused study you can use a app called Forest which will help you to keep your focus maintained. Do study in sessions for eg 50 mins study followed by 5 min break. This will definitely help you

Feeling sleepy during studies is mainly due to stress, irregular sleeping pattern, fatigue I strongly recommend not to take any medicines to keep you active. If you feel so sleepy follow these steps • Take small nap for about 20 to 30 mins before studying • Regularise sleep pattern,  have good sleep for approximately 6-7hrs • Follow healthy lifestyle and maintain diet • Take some small breaks while studying,  follow pomodoro technique • If you are early bird -> then early morning study is best time as concentration level will be high • Avoid heavy meals before studying • Teach someone while studying, so u can focus more

Feeling sleepy while studying is mostly due to fatigue, irregular sleep, and stress rather than needing medicine. You are handling a heavy workload, childcare, job, and studies — so your body is naturally exhausted. Tips to stay active while studying: Prioritize sleep: Aim for at least 6–7 hours of continuous rest. Study in short sessions (25–40 mins) with 5–10 min breaks. Choose active study methods – write, speak aloud, use flashcards instead of only reading. Healthy diet: Take balanced meals, stay hydrated, include fruits, nuts, and iron-rich foods. Best time to study: Early morning after rest is usually more productive than late at night. Avoid heavy meals before studying (can cause drowsiness). No strong medicines are recommended just to stay awake. If excessive sleepiness continues despite proper rest, consult a doctor to rule out anemia, thyroid issues, or vitamin deficiencies.

Hi, and thank you for sharing your situation so openly. You're already doing so much — as a mother, a part-time teacher, and a homemaker in a joint family — and still making time to study for SSC. That shows real strength and determination. I like to clarify something to you first, There is no safe medicine that can make you "active while studying" without some side effects ❗️So no, I strongly advise not to take any medicine for staying awake. You don’t need medicine — you need better study strategies, micro-rests, and compassion for yourself. You are doing so much already — managing work, child, home, and study. Many people don’t even attempt this. But SSC preparation is not about hours. It’s about consistency, revision, and smart techniques. Best wishes for getting selected ✨️
Next Steps
Related to your child..Try these 1. Studying with her nearby, giving her safe toys or coloring. 2. Use audio notes to listen while doing house work or feeding her. 3. Make a game: “Mummy is learning — let’s sit quietly for 10 mins!” To improve your study efficiency.. try these 1. Study 25 mins → Take 5 min break → Repeat 4 times → Then a longer 20-min break. 2. Write what you read — even just points. 3. Teach it aloud (as if to a child!) 4. Avoid heavy rice meals before study time. 5. Drink water often — dehydration causes drowsiness. 6. Right before study — 2 mins deep breathing (e.g., inhale 4s, exhale 6s). 7. Always sit at a desk or table, not bed & Keep the room bright and ventilated.
Health Tips
Small cup of coffee/tea before study time is fine (not after 7 PM tho)

Dear female, Since you work as a teacher, work at home, look after your daughter also and husband and joint family and also yoga and night stretches, it is obvious your body gets tired and is not getting enough rest. Something you have to leave. Or ask your husb to help you in everything so that your body gets time to heal. Then u will be ok.

As a person who has studied a lot I can advise you but not as a Doctor, few things to do are Keep a study routine and studying early in the morning before all the chores helps a lot. Can wash face with water before sitting for study and taking tea or coffee in moderation can help. Also sleeping for half an hour in afternoon can keep you fresh and active for study at night. Also get tested for any vitamin deficiency, thyroid and anaemia. And take supplements accordingly. Take care
