A single fasting reading of 100, which is the border of normal and pre-diabetic, is not sufficient to label you as pre-diabetic. Make sure you have proper 10-12 hours of fasting before you check your fasting glucose level.
HbA1c is a better marker in this case as it allows us to get an idea of the overall average over the past 3-4 months. 4.5g% is a normal value and not suggestive of pre-diabetes. Keep doing what you're doing and stay healthy!
