A raised ESR is a nonspecific marker of inflammation. Common causes include infections, autoimmune diseases (such as rheumatoid arthritis or SLE), anemia, thyroid disorders, kidney disease, and some cancers. ESR can also increase with age, obesity, pregnancy, or menstruation. It should always be interpreted along with symptoms and other investigations.

Results show anemia thrombocytopenia, elevated ESR indicates inflammation.do consult a physician in your area for a clinical examination and appropriate investigations to determine the cause

An elevated ESR is a nonspecific sign of inflammation; it does not diagnose one disease by itself. Low haemoglobin with low platelets needs prompt evaluation for nutritional deficiency, infection, liver/spleen disease or bone-marrow causes. Please get CBC with peripheral smear, reticulocyte count, iron/B12/folate and liver tests, and review the reports with a physician. I can assess you through Practo or at Synergy Multispeciality Hospital, Mirajâplease book a consultation soon, especially if you have bleeding, fever, breathlessness or marked weakness.

Your decreased hb with mcv being higher side of normal shows megaloblastic anemia which will be due to vit B9 or vit B12 deficiency and raised ESR indicate possible ongoing infection
It maybe due to chronic disease or TB or fibroid or malignancy
There is decrease in the Hb concentration and Hct as well. It might be iron deficiency or VitB12 deficiency anemia or may be blood loss in the body, Considering the patient is a female and the age, it might be due to primenopause also.
Your CBC shows macrocytic anemia (Hb 9.1, MCV 100.3) and thrombocytopenia (platelets 75,000). Increasing ESR can occur due to anemia or underlying inflammation. Possible causes include vitamin B12/folate deficiency, medication effects, nutritional deficiencies, hemolysis, or bone marrow disorders.
Please consult a physician/hematologist for further evaluation. Investigations such as peripheral smear, reticulocyte count, vitamin B12, folate, LFT, LDH, and bilirubin are recommended. Compare previous CBC reports to assess the trend.
Your reports show a low haemoglobin, a low platelet count, and a very high ESR of 115. Your red blood cells are also larger than the normal size.
Next Steps
This combination needs a doctor's review soon, ideally a physician or haematologist who can check a peripheral smear along with B12 and iron levels. Please don't treat this as routine, given how high the ESR and how low the platelets are.
