For common cold, sorethroat you may try this remedy.
Boil half part of milk and half part of water with 1 pinch of turmeric, 1 pinch of pepper, a small piece of Ginger. Filter and take once or twice daily.
For oesophagitis, home remedies will give only symptomatic relief. Try avoiding spicy foods, citrus fruits, coffee, tea etc. You can take bland diet and fluids which are soothening in nature.
