I am having elbow pain and muscle near that area is a little swallon. I only feel pain when I try to straighten my hand or lift weight. Its on my right hand and I feel I did some wrong weight lifting at gym. Will excercises help or do I need some meditation and other treatment.

Hi..your having pain due to elbow strain so... primarily you can go with gentle elbow stretching then apply quick iceing over affected area.. And take Tennis elbow Support. If not recovered then consult a Near by physiotherapist Immeadaitly Will give you good remedy for that ...

Give Rest to particular affected joint.. Keep icing (Cryotherapy) for 20-30mins twice daily, after icing do minimal flexion and extension movement.. Recovery will take 3-5 days..

* icing around the painful area for 5_15mins intermittently /3 - 4 times a day. Continue till pain subsides.
*Let your hand rest and avoid straining activities which are aggravating pain.

5 - is medium and affecting your work.
8-10 is very painful and also affecting your daily basic activities.
