Hello,
LVH in the ECG is a finding due to hypertension. Also HBA1C of 6.1 suggests that you’re pre diabetic. If appropriate medicines have been started it is advisable to continue them. Diet and lifestyle modification helps a lot.

Based on the information provided, there appears to have long-standing hypertension with evidence of target organ involvement (LVH on ECG) along with prediabetes (HbA1c 6.1%). It is reassuring that the kidney function tests, liver function tests, and lipid profile are within normal limits, which means there is no current biochemical organ damage. The presence of LVH suggests that blood pressure has been elevated for some time, so strict and sustained BP control is essential to prevent future complications such as heart failure, stroke, or kidney disease. The medicines started by the treating doctor for BP control are appropriate in this context, and they should be continued regularly without missing doses. Blood pressure should be monitored at home with proper technique, and the target should ideally be below 130 to 140 over 80 to 90 mmHg, depending on tolerance.
The HbA1c value of 6.1 percent indicates prediabetes, which does not require antidiabetic medication at this stage but does need lifestyle modification, including reduced intake of refined carbohydrates and sugars, regular physical activity, weight control, and periodic monitoring. With good BP control, diet discipline, and exercise, HbA1c can often be brought back to normal range. Regular follow-up with the treating physician is advised to reassess BP readings, repeat HbA1c in about 3 to 6 months, and consider a 2D echocardiography if not already done to better assess the LVH. Overall, the current management is on the right track, and with compliance to medications and lifestyle measures, the long-term outlook is good.
Good luck!
Do contact if you have any doubts.
Your ECG shows that you may have had high blood pressure for sometime and may not have known about it. This is an important finding in your case.
*Your medications for blood pressure is fine
*With your blood glucose levels, your target blood pressure will be to get it to less than 130/70 mm Hg
*Also have blood tests done for Renal function tests and Lipid profile every 6 months
*Have Urine test for microscopy and Urine Albumin-creatinine ratio every year
*If you have not had eye check in the last year-have retina checked
*If you have not had feet sensation checked in the last year-have it checked
The way doctors assess these days is we want to reduce risk of heart attacks and stroke. So rather than just focus on blood pressure all other things also need to be done.
*Finally life style changes and regular exercise
All the best.
