Duration of immunity of TT vaccine
Is immunity imparted by Tetanus vaccine or toxoid (that we get usually in medical stores) effective till 6 months or 5 years? If I had a Tetanus vaccine in September 2021, again in November 2022 and most recent in July 2023, do I need to take another vaccine if exposed today?

There are two schedules for Tetvac vaccination. One schedule gives you immunity for 5 years. The other one is to tide over a crisis.
The injection is the same but the schedule of giving injections is different.

You don’t need another vaccine for 10 years unless it is a deep wound dirty wound.
Example: a rusted metal cut etc
A clean wound does not need another vaccine. Just wash with soap and water immediately and apply soframycin cream to the wound.
