Tetanus shot frequency in duration
"Hi, I would like to know how long a person remains immune after getting a tetanus shot. The internet says the duration is 5 years, but one doctor told me it’s just 6 months. Can someone please confirm this? I got a small wound from a broken key 30 hours ago, but I haven’t gotten a tetanus shot yet, as I had one 2 years ago."

5 yrs is not justified. In India It's advised after cut or injury by iron or road  accident. Full immunization One in first month Second in second month Third in six month Protect  u for one year.
