A deviated nasal septum (DNS), nasal spur, and inferior turbinate hypertrophy are structural conditions that cannot be fully reversed through Ayurveda, but symptoms like nasal blockage, congestion, and breathing difficulty can be managed effectively using Ayurvedic treatments.
Ayurvedic Medicines & Treatments:
â Shadbindu Taila (Nasal Drops) â 2 drops in each nostril daily in the morning to reduce inflammation and clear nasal passages.
â Anu Taila Nasya â If dryness or irritation persists, use 2 drops daily before sleep.
â Sitopaladi Churna â ½ tsp with honey twice daily to reduce mucus buildup and improve breathing.
â Trikatu Churna â ½ tsp with warm water before meals to clear congestion.
â Kanchanar Guggulu â 2 tablets twice daily after meals to reduce turbinate swelling.
â Steam Inhalation â Add eucalyptus or pudina (mint) oil to clear nasal passages.
Lifestyle & Yoga Recommendations:
Pranayama (Breathing Exercises):
Anulom-Vilom for nasal airflow balance.
Bhramari to reduce inflammation.
Kapalabhati (if no severe blockage).
Avoid cold foods & dairy to prevent excess mucus formation.
Important Note:
If symptoms persist despite Ayurvedic treatment, surgical correction (Septoplasty) may be needed for permanent relief.
Follow this regimen for 3â6 months and monitor improvement.
