My brother infected with covid 19 he is suffering from 2 weeks.he is diabetic with fasting sugar 180 and pp 300. Please suggest the diet to control diabetes

Diabetes can not be cure it can prevented by diet so follow three main things like healthy diet,exercise and walk early morning and evening. Take high fibre food in ur diet. Hello Your brother need to take high protein diabetic diet. He have to avoid refined flours, white rice and other simple carbs. Take complex carbs like oats, whole wheat flour, Dalia, brown rice etc. for high protein tonned milk and tonned paneer, soyabean, tofu, egg whites etc. low glycemic fruits and more of vegetables. Take more fluids. Avoid juices. We need to know whether the Covid 19 is symptomatic or not and rest other conditions, sugar levels etc

Hi, He needs to follow diabetic diet along with medication. More details are required to recommend specifically. Include more vegetables , low GI fruits, complex carbohydrates and good quality protein . Try to do exercise, which will helpful. The gap between meals shouldn't be more than 3 hours.
