Hey, Thanks for sharing this. It’s completely valid to feel overwhelmed after a breakup, especially when it also affects your studies and health. From what you've described- difficulty concentrating, memory issues, weight loss, and emotional distress, it sounds like you may be going through an episode of depression or adjustment disorder.
Next Steps
Please consider speaking to a mental health professional, either a psychologist or psychiatrist, who can guide you through this phase with supportive therapy or, if needed, medication. Even just a few sessions can make a big difference. Try to maintain a basic routine, even if it’s minimal- sleep, food, and short study periods.

Hey I understand how difficult this phase feels. When we go through an emotional setback like a breakup, our brain goes into survival mode — it becomes overwhelmed, making it hard to focus, retain information, or even take care of basic needs like eating. This isn’t because you’re weak or incapable, it’s because your mind is still processing emotional pain. The heaviness you feel and your difficulty in studying are very normal reactions to emotional stress. Right now, your mind needs compassion, not pressure. Start with very small steps — focus on self-care, proper meals, and allow yourself time to heal emotionally. Once your emotional energy rebuilds, your concentration and memory will gradually return. Therapy can help speed up this recovery and give you tools to manage focus and emotional distress together. Take therapy, and you can connect with me on nine two six six seven two six zero six five.

Your memory quotient needs to be checked if it is an isolated thing or in relation to any other psychological issue. Consult an astute psychiatrist and seek remedy. Good luck.
