May be you were not encouraged during ur childhood  to take decisions  Or Everything was easily and promptly available to you in those days and you never have to think about anything. Could be ur parents were so concerned and protective which didn't allow you to take even small  Small  decisions.
Next Steps
This is nothing to worry. The habit which was useful earlier Is no more useful now. So learn to alter the pattern by consulting a psychologist.

Inattention,forgetfulness and a tendency to remain withdrawn shoudnt be left unattended.Instead of waiting for it to pass,hoping things will get better and overthinking your symptoms you should seek help from a psychiatrist.it is essential to treat the problems as well as get to the root cause. When something can be treated,it should..why suffer? What you have described is like having a fever it could be due to many causes they need to be assessed and treated.
