Hello. I understand, what you’re going through, and your concerns are very genuine. Your doc must have given you the meds based on the psych-eval they did.
Understand one thing, the dose you have been prescribed is very low and usually considered safe. If your emotional symptoms are under control with that dosage then your shrink might not consider uptitration.
Next Steps
In that case supportive environment, psychoeducation of your partner/ family members is extremely important. A positive and nurturing ambience can really help you stay more grounded .

Hi..any tablet you take during pregnancy also passes on to the baby. Hence doctors prescribe medicines with caution. Always risks vs benefits of the medicines are seen while prescribing. However having depression during pregnancy raises risks for babies, including Premature birth, low birth weight., less growth in the womb. Your doctor might have prescribed the medicines after considering all the above factors. A small percentage of infants can have withdrawl effects. Its better to have periodic scans. Also Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is used as first line treatment during pregnancy.
Yes, sertraline is generally considered safe to take during pregnancy. Most studies have not found an increased risk of birth defects when taking sertraline during pregnancy. The background risk of birth defects is 3-5%. Some studies suggest that sertraline might occasionally affect a baby's heart development, but the risk is small. Taking sertraline in the last month of pregnancy may slightly increase the risk of bleeding after delivery, but this side effect is rare and can be treated.

Consider therapeutic drug monitoring to ensure the safety of you and your baby.Eat a healthy balanced diet.Drink enough water to avoid dehydration.
