Visit your dentist before the infection gets more acute or severe in which case it would require more aggressive sort of treatment .So the earlier the treatment is started the better are chances of a faster resolution of the problem.

Hi, you actually have got two problems at the same time, sensitivity may be beacuse of cavity, and the reason for pain might be food impaction. X-ray is very much needed, cavity needs RCT and food imapction need localised cleaning.

Hi, the most probable reason for ur problem is deep caries which have infected the nerves of ur tooth. Most likely caries would be at the junction of teeth, that is why u couldn't visualize the decay. But still thorogh examination with the help of x rays need to be done to diagnose the condition. U would require RCT of the infected tooth, which will solve ur problem completely. Taking pain killer tablets or clove oil may not always provide u relief all the time, but treatment will definitely do..visit ur dentist for the same

Self medication is always dangerous and it wont give u permanent solution. Gum swelling maybe due to food impaction and calculus formation. which can be easily corrected by scaling(teeth cleaning). So visit a dentist.
