Hello doctor! I have one crooked tooth in the front and I want to remove it and get a dental implant. I don't want to wear braces so I am an eligible candidate for immediate/same-day implant.

Go for braces treatment. Same day implants have a higher failure rate .. Today braces treatment is very comfortable and go for the best treatment options available.

Whether you're a suitable candidate for immediate/same-day dental implant placement depends on a variety of factors. It's essential to have a thorough evaluation by a qualified dentist or oral surgeon to determine if this is the best option for you. Here are some considerations: Bone Health: Dental implants require sufficient bone density and volume to support the implant securely. Your dentist will assess if your bone is suitable for immediate implant placement. Gum Health: Healthy gums are crucial for successful implant placement. Any existing gum disease or issues will need to be addressed before proceeding with an implant. Tooth Condition: If the tooth you want to replace is still in place, its condition will affect the feasibility of immediate implant placement. If the tooth is already missing, that can impact the approach as well. Alignment: Your surrounding teeth and their alignment will play a role in the implant's placement. If your other teeth are crooked or misaligned, that might affect the implant's position. Overall Oral Health: The overall health of your mouth will be evaluated, including any other dental problems you might have. Patient's Medical History: Certain medical conditions or medications might affect the suitability of immediate implant placement. Expectations: You should have realistic expectations about the procedure, healing time, and potential outcomes. Consultation: A detailed consultation and examination with a dental professional will determine if immediate/same-day implant placement is right for you. While you might prefer to avoid braces, keep in mind that dental implants aren't always a direct substitute for orthodontic treatment. Depending on the severity of the crooked tooth and the alignment of the surrounding teeth, your dentist might recommend alternative options, like orthodontic treatment to straighten the teeth before proceeding with an implant. Ultimately, the decision will be based on your individual situation and the recommendations of your dental professional. It's important to have a comprehensive discussion with your dentist to understand the best course of action for achieving your desired outcome while ensuring your dental health and long-term success of the implant.

There’s never a replacement to one’s own tooth! If you have trouble wearing braces you can go in for Aligners. But if you want an immediate treatment then only aesthetic rehab is the option. Even implants is a time consuming treatment plan
Next Steps
Post a picture of the area with the crooked tooth

Yes you can plan an implant after removal of your tooth. But please keep this in mind. The temporary crown can be given in top of the implant after a few days. Permanent crown should be placed after 3 months
Next Steps
Can send us the photos of your tooth and we can guide accordingly on teleconsult

Hi, In my opinion, getting a tooth removed at your age is not advisable. Braces is a better option. There are invisible braces also available.
