Dental Cavities
My 3 years child teeth got damaged due to cavities. Due to these cavities he is getting ear pain and he is crying a lot due to pain. Even local doctor was unable to control the child while giving treatment and he told that child is crying a lot and he cannot give treatment. The doctor suggested me to get treatment from peadratic dentist. So, to treat the cavities is anthesia required to be given to child so that child remains calm during the procedure. Will it have any negative impact on child as he is 3 years old. Kindly reply regarding this.

A Pediatric dentist will be able to help you the best in this case. Anesthesia is important for definitive treatment. I am a Pediatric dentist myself and know that such young kids suffer from anxiety and don’t cooperate.
Next Steps
Visit a qualified Pediatric dentist.
Health Tips
If required, your kid may need treatment under general anesthesia.

Namaskaram, We understand your pain. A child should never have to go through such trauma. However, a treatment for the little guy is a must or it may escalate into something big and ugly. We're pleased to tell you that at our clinic, we administer a 3layered anaesthesia. Two of them being needleless. This is especially done to provide a pain free treatment for kids. Your child is already in pain you need to get it treated. They are milk teeth which will definitely fall but after 7 yrs at least... So how do you expect your child to eat for that long period Treatment can be done under local or general anesthesia which is totally safe The dental infection you have is been there for long time.. Give some time to heal and recover. Don't neglect or else if the child's permanent teeth get damaged due to spread of infection the child will be a life long dental patient
