Hii
1-If u had a viral fever in last one week could be the cause of this and it will settle down by own - stay well hydrated
2- could be ongoing infection in your body
Please get a CBC done and repeat CRP after 5 days
And u can consult with the reports available
Hope it helped you
Raised CRP means increased inflammation somewhere in the body. Detailed history is needed to add adequate investigations and reach a diagnosis. Please connect for further discussion.
Next Steps
Take a professional consultation. Will be glad to help
For past how many days do u have fever?
Any associated symptoms?
How is ur oral intake?
How is ur urine output?
Currently on what all medicines are u on?
CRP value of 68 indicates an ongoing inflammatory or infectious process in the body. Since you are having fever, this raised CRP is most likely related to an underlying infection, which may be viral or bacterial in origin.
Next Steps
At this stage, I would recommend:
Sharing the complete CBC report (along with differential counts) to look for bacterial vs viral pattern.
Monitoring your temperature and other symptoms (cough, sore throat, urinary issues, abdominal pain, etc.).
Adequate hydration, rest, and paracetamol (if fever >100°F).
If fever persists beyond 3–4 days, or if you develop worsening symptoms (breathlessness, chest pain, severe weakness, etc.), further evaluation including urine test, chest X-ray, or additional blood tests may be required.
Health Tips
Raised CRP alone is non-specific, but with supportive care most viral fevers improve within 5–7 days. However, persistent fever may require antibiotics after clinical assessment.
Nothing.
CRP is a no specific test which only tells that you have some infection somewhere. When the infection is controlled the CRP will automatically come down.
You should take the help of a General Physician in your area to find out the location of infection.
Get a blood culture done and asses the kind of infection or inflammation your body is going through.
Get a urine routine also . Crp is seen high at times when pt have RA , Get done with ANA , ANTI SMITH , RF FACTOR , ASO. LFT AND RFT .

Hello,
Your CRP level of 68 is significantly raised, which indicates active inflammation or infection in the body. Since you also have fever, this needs further evaluation.
I recommend:
• A complete clinical examination.
• Review of your CBC and any other test reports.
• Depending on findings, further tests (like urine, chest X-ray, blood culture, etc.) may be required.
• Treatment will be planned after identifying the source of infection or inflammation.
Please consult me (or a doctor) in person at the earliest so that we can examine you properly and start the right treatment
It means you have active infection in your body. But might as well connect as it’s necessary to know the duration of fever and also other factors needs to be discussed.

CRP is a non specific indicator of inflammation in the body. You must have some infection leading to inflammation or inflammatory condition such as caused by autoimmune illnesses eg Rheumatoid arthritis.
68 is high
