Cracked heel/ ulcer on the heel
I had thickened skin on my heel of the right foot. On trying to remove it, it has become this. I have a lot of pain associated with it. What can I do to help the situation.

Good morning, as you mentioned here that you tried to remove the thickened part of your heal in your home is not the ideal remedy for the problem.
As we can see that there is wound in your heel, if not maintained in hygienic condition may lead to infection.
I would advice not to remove the skin like this in future, for now you can take
