She is getting recurrent fever and cough because she is exposed to variety of virus. They say healthy child can be sick somewhere between 120 to 150 days in a year

She might be getting frequent cold and fever because of different exposures outside home. Some allergies might also be there, making her prone to infections. Tonsillitis, adenoid swellings, Nasal polyps should be checked for. Need detailed history and examination to suggest anything. Give her Influenza vaccine every year, at least till 5 yrs.

Cold and fever every month or so is normal for a toddler kid. When he / she starts going to school, he gets exposed to a lot of new infections from other children. This helps her to develop immunity to a lot of infections later on in life. Having cold and cough 6-7 times a year is absolutely normal. If a fever is associated with mild cough and runny nose it is most likely viral and it subsides in 5-7 days. You just need to see if child's activity is good or not. If she is active and playful, nothing to worry. Regarding the previous CRP, HIGH TLC, your child might have had typhoid or any other bacterial illness, which might have subsided with antibiotics. If your child is experiencing high grade fever, loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhoea, decreased activity then you should consult a doctor.
Next Steps
1. Keep the child hydrated 2. Maintain Hygiene, wash his/her hands frequently 3. check if the child has received influenza vaccine, if not you should get it done 4. Avoid overuse of cough syrups 5.consult if the child is lethargic, not eating or is running high grade fever
