Continuous dry cough
I'm using 5 days dextromethorphan 10mg and cpm 4mg for dry cough as per my doctor prescription, my cough controlled upto 60% but my cousin he is also physician suggested not to use dextromethorphan instead of that medicine he recommends levocloperastine fendizoate syrup. Which i use

Dextromethophqm- non opioid cough suppressant and have actions on both central and peripheral cough receptor for suppression of cough . Takes a little longer to produce results compared to other medication . Causes sedation as a side effect .
Whereas levocloperastine is an antitussive ( cough suppressant) which acts only on central receptors , and the actions of the medication occur faster and less seductive compared to others .

That formulation is good for dry cough. However if the cough persists, you can take the dextromorphan formulation of Grillinctus, which is also good.
