My 6 yr old child is having constipation problems for many years. Earlier motion used to come after 2-3 days but now the days are increasing to 4 days. Stool is also hard in the starting Nd she has to apply lot of pressure to bring it out. The doctor asked to give 1.5 scoop earlier but after not much improvement he is asking to increase it to 2.5 is it safe ?

U need to add plenty of water n liquid, OATS bin any form, fibrous diet including salad, fruits butter milk sakes, add tomato beetroot spinach juice at least four days in a week or regular.very effect ive, healthy.
Overall effect on guy movement is good.
Your child seems to have deep gut dysfunctioning issues, need detailed holistic evaluation to fix root cause.
What scoop are you giving?
If it's some form of laxative you are not truely helping your child in long run bcz symptoms suppressing or relieving medications don't work in long run.
Focus on improving gut health for sustainable healing and health for your child .
