Asthma is the disease which usually very well responds to treatment. Your mother may have alternate diagnosis or it may be a form of difficult to control asthma. Consult with a pulmonologist for complete evaluation and treatment

These are airway diseases. And it should be treated with proper step by step investigations and prescriptions. Consult a nearby pulmonologist immediately. Her symptoms will be better.
