I've not slept for more than 2hrs/night in more than a month. I wake up exhausted (obviously), unable to focus on work, or exercise, etc. I've always had insomnia, since childhood. But this time it's a long spell, I'm desperate. Tried almost everything (yoga, meditation, melatonin, homeopathy, mushrooms) apart from heavy duty sleep medication.
Who should I see regarding my condition? Any tips please? Happy to consult too.

Hi there are options for chronic insomnia but these need to be explored stepwise. On the therapy side there is something known as CBT-I for insomnia. Also - please see if you are able to address your sleep hygiene (decreasing caffeine intake, light exercise before bed, the use of sleep aids, etc). There is also medication available; this does depend from person to person and may be required - please do not hesitate if the option is needed.
