Chondromalacia pattela pain
Iam having knee pain left side ..it'd from6 months. Did physiotherapy also daily dng excercise also but still.i have pain mild.attaching reports is it arthritis??

It's not arthritis.It is chondromalacia of patella.In this condition the carriage on the inner surface of patella becomes soft. Physiotherapy is the mainstay for treatment which should be given together with chondroitin sulfate and collagen supplements. Avoid using stairs ,sitting cross legged and squatting in the initial period as these activity increase pain. Take vitamin D3 and calcium supplements

Not to do any Physio , ice pack application and knee cap during activities and anti inflammatory medication. After a week to start Physio .

If it's mild take pain killer on sos basis and continue Quadriceps strengthening exercises regularly and physiotherapy knee IFT and ULTRASONIC THERAPY for week If pain is moderate to severe plan for intraarticular injections
