Hi... I am a breastfeeding mother of a 8 month old... Please check my attached report and let me know if I need medicine or I can just correct it by myself? I am concerned about my baby if I take the medicine, hence asking then question.

Your cholesterol levels are a bit high . During breastfeeding medications are not advised.As these levels are not too high ,non pharmacological treatment is ideal ,with lifestyle,diet modification and exercising regularly for 30 minutes a day.Use lots of fresh fruits and vegetables.

You should never take medicines for cholesterol problems when you are breastfeeding. From this report you don't need any medicine for your lipid profile.

Cholesterol levels can increase during the later part of pregnancy and gradually reduce within a few months over time after delivery. However medications are not safe during breasfeeding. Your levels are not too high but have persisted for long, so you consider lifestyle modifications to bring them down .
