Chia Seeds digestion
I mix chia seed with fruit juice and drink every day. Is it beneficial? Does these seeds stick to intestine lining and cause abdominal discomfort eventually?

Chia seeds are a superfood that lives up to their name. They are high in Omega 3's (healthy fat that is anti-inflammatory), antioxidants, and key micronutrients like magnesium, calcium, manganese, and protein. But maybe Chia's most notable feature is its high fibre content, which includes both soluble and insoluble fibre. Insoluble fibre functions as a scrub brush in your colon. Soluble fibre absorbs water, resulting in bulk and a feeling of fullness. The fascinating thing about Chia seeds is that they can absorb A lot of water - claims range from 8 to 27 times their weight in water, making it an excellent meal to add to your diet if you want to feel full for a long time without having to eat a lot - as in trying to lose weight. Because chia seeds store plenty of fluids, they are also excellent at preventing dehydration. However, if you eat dried chia seeds without first soaking them in liquid, they will absorb the water in your system and perhaps create a blockage. Although I've never seen it happen, I can imagine that if you ate a lot of chia seeds without any liquid and they got trapped in your neck, windpipe, or intestines, they could produce an obstruction. But so could any seeds, which absorb water and become gelatinous.
Next Steps
You can safely consume 1tsp to 1tbsp overnight soaked chia seeds in your daily diet and drink plenty of liquids through the day.
Health Tips
Chia seeds have numerous nutritional benefits and should be included in any balanced diet. However, they should be consumed with a drink, preferably after overnight soaking.

You can mix it in fruits juice and smoothie. It doesn't create any discomfort to your intestine. But if you are taking from a long time then take a break for some time.
