My cervix measured 25mm in my 28 weeks pregnant scan. Is it too short cervix . Will my vlcervix open suddenly . When can I expect my cervix to open itself. Do I need cervical cerclage in 29 weeks pregnant

Please consult with a Gynaecologist on Practo with the information regarding your previous pregnancies, any injury to your cervix during previous pregnancies, any history of UTI.
With your history a proper treatment can be planned.

There's no use of cervical cerclage at or after 28 weeks
Don't have to worry if u don't have any symptoms ( pain abdomen, bloody discharge from the vagina)
U can ask ur Gynecologist for steroid coverage as a prophylaxis for fetal lung maturity
If u r already on progesterone, kindly continue it

Mam it's normal length. Cervical cerclage is not done at this POG.
