Cervix length 2.9cms at 12 weeks
Hello I am 12 weeks pregnant, in my NT scan yesterday everything was normal with baby but my cervix length is 2.9cms, doctor says that she might suggest for a cervical stitch. Please tell me if 2.9cm at 12 weeks is dangerous?? Is it harmful to my baby?? WhAt should I do next?

Yes. A cervix length of 2.9 cm is a short cervix. But you do nothing next, except following what your Doctor says.

It is not harmful, you  can get a repeat scan after a week , if cervical  length is less than 2.5cm, you need a stitch.
