Calcaneus fracture
Hii My left leg calcaneus fractured as I fell from about 10ft height on 26th Jan & operated on 29th Jan. After 6 weeks (on 17th March) plaster removed. When can I put weight on it ? How much time usually it takes for recovery?

6weeks is a good time ...esp after fixation. Start tie walking for 2weeks then progressing to partial and full weight bearing walking.

It will take 12 weeks for calcaneal fracture to heal. Non weight bearing until that time

Pain and follow up x-rays are determine when you can start bearing weight. It usually takes 2- 3 months. Please consult the doctor who treated you.
