Usually one to one and half years after bone healing it depends on location and bone quality Please upload x ray

Hello.. Well it the implant removal depends on the type used..region and the requirement..there is no mandatory rule that it is to be removed after an year..i suggest you to be specific bin what you want to ask and also consult orthopaedician do know about it.. thank you

Yes, Rod's are definitely Removable and are usually advised to be removed post 12 months of successful healing of the fracture site. As far as side effects goes, no particular side effect as such except the basic side effects of surgery that are scar, and a bit of skin tightness, prone to infection.
