My son is 1.5 years with some teeth came. When is right brushing age and what should be type of toothpaste ?

Hey. The right brushing age is as soon as the teeth erupt. There are some fluoride toothpaste for kids available in market, use these. Also there is a very small soft brush available, this would make it easier for you. Amount of toothpaste should be very less like a small pea.

Hi The tooth brushing can be started once the first teeth starts erupted....Use fluoridated toot paste...Take a pea sized amount or small rice amount.....use small head soft bristles tooth brush.. professional Teeth cleaning(scaling) should be done by dentists once in 6 months to maintain good oral hygiene

As soon as the teeth are there in the mouth I should keep them clean by wiping them with cloth wrapped on your finger or by small baby brush Toothpaste should not be used Once they know how to spit them tooth paste should be introduced. Please take care of them

Hi. It is important to start cleaning teeth as soon as they erupt in the mouth which is approximately at six months of age. You can start brushing your son's teeth with a small baby toothbrush and fluoridated toothpaste which is in the size of a rice grain on the brush. A pea sized toothpaste can be used post 3 years of age. Hope this helps your query.
