Would recommend a good quality metal free cap with warranty. Would also recommend you to do the rct with an experienced MDS endodontist. Visit your dentist at the earliest.  Further fracture can lead to an unrestorable tooth ending in extraction of it.  So eat soft diet n visit dentist for rootcanal treatment and crown.

The best option for you is to get a root canal treatment followed by a crown done for that tooth. The whole process may take 3 to 4 sittings (30 mins each) with the dentist spread over a period of ten days. Please visit a dentist at the earliest so that any further damage to the tooth can be arrested and corrected.
