It might not be a scaphoid pain. Instead, DeQuervains tenosynovitis( inflammation of tendons inserting in the thumb) is a likely possibility. You can use thumb splints which are readily available. Also, you can use hot packs over the area. Some ultrasound therapy might also help.

Hi you are having pain on activities involving palmar flexion probably you have bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome which is a condition where one of your forearm nerves get compressed due to tightness through a passage called the carpal tunnel in your wrist. The above mentioned activities further reduce the space and hence you are having pain
Next Steps
May i suggest you the following
T. ALTRADAY 1-0-0
T. MEPR 0-0-1 BOTH AFTER FOOD FOR 10 DAYS
wear a cock up spint while sleeping to help increase the space for 10 days
If the above treatment fails you might require a cortisone injection in the carpal tunnel
If that fails then final stage is to release the carpal tunnel
Regards
Praveen
Health Tips
Do a nerve conduction study of both upper limbs to confirm the diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome
